Preservation Hall Jazz Band

Carrying on the namesake of the venerable music venue located in the heart of New Orleans' French Quarter this musical institution has been spreading the New Orleans jazz art form internationally for five decades, a music that embodes a joyful, timeless spirit.

From their humble roots to sharing the stage with The Black Keys and Dr. John at the 2013 Grammy Awards their journey has been historic and a testament to the power of their message.

Toronto All Star Big Band

Back by popular demand after their standout concert at the 2011 Jazz Festival, this is an ensemble of young, very skilled jazz musicians. Armed with brilliant programming, slick choreography and witty cultural nostalgia, the band revives the spirit, style and sound of 1930's and 40's - that golden age of the big bands.

Peter Appleyard & The Sophisticated Ladies

Legendary jazz musician and vibraphone master Peter Appleyard returns to Huntsville backed by some of the best jazz players in the country and supported by a couple of 'sophisticated ladies' who will pay tribute to songs like 'Smile', 'Georgia' and 'If You Could See Me Now.'
